If you are a soccer coach of a youth soccer team, you need to spend some time working on team rosters, starters, bench players, and positions. This can be a difficult task. This software should help with some of the management of that job. With Soccer Roster Assistant coaches can input in a full starting line-up, including specific soccer positions such as forward and defender. The list of players can be entered for each period and includes a list of starters and bench players. Coaches can then print out the roster before the game to show the kids who is starting which period and the positions they are playing. The software keeps a full record of all old rosters and games. In addition to keeping track of line-ups, you can record who won the game, the score, and who you played against. This can be helpful down the line to see how different groups of players performed. The user interface is set up to be easy to use. A list of players and past rosters are on the main screen. Select New or Edit roster to open the individual game windows and input data. Although the program is simple, it is free, quick to learn, and can be useful to soccer coaches.
Each game is shown by date, opponent, and score. This allows soccer coaches to see which rosters perform the best against certain other soccer teams. You can also track who started and who came off the bench
For each game during the season the coach enters in who played, or is going to play, which position for each period. This is done on the "new roster" or "edit roster" screen. Soccer players can be selected via the drop down or, if they haven't been entered yet, just type in the name and the player will be added to the permanent soccer roster for that team.
We hope this software program helps coaches track their soccer team more easily. Be sure to check back and get updates. We plan to update this software occasionally to bring in new features.
