Startup Manager is a program that provides you the possibility to manage the Windows startup procedure. It offers you the possibility to control which programs automatically start up and more. This allows the user to disable unwanted programs which automatically start after the boot, in many cases spyware and other harmful applications thus making the startup procedure more efficient and faster.
Its possible that you don't want to see a particular program starting up everytime you boot (think spyware and other unpleasant/unnessesary applications). In this case you have 2 options: you can permanently delete the file from the startup list or you can simply chose to disable the item without it being deleted from the list.
Windows has the bad habbit of not booting up the programs in the same order as they appear in the startup list in Startup Manager (or in the registry for that mather). So if you want to boot up several programs in a particular order you can do that by making a batch file. You can make on easily using Startup Manager.
Startup Manager is free. You don't have to pay to use it, and you can use it any way you want. It is developed under the terms and conditions of the GNU General Public License (GPL).
