The software has been created as general application for surveillance hybrid platforms functioning concurrently with wireless and wired IP cameras, Television-boards, capture boards, power-line, and USB webcams.

It has web interface with the equal appearance and functionality on the local and distant computers. Users watch MPEG-4 coded video and have complete management of the program via net that security pc can be run without monitor, keyboard, and mouse connected.

Program's modular structure significantly increases reliability because all parts act as autonomous software. If one part fails, other modules keep on running. For example if the "record" component freezes, "watchdog" starts again it instantly that viewers don't notice anything because they are viewing video through a "playback" component.

The program makes "cyclic" recording that the "disk full" situation never occurs. The recording can be non-stop or it can be initiated by activity, human face recognition, or by schedule.

The program has pre-alarm and post-alarm recording. Playing back recorded video is pretty simple and performs on the surveillance workstation as well as on apart server via Web interface.

The software performs synchronized video playback for event examination from many webcams at the same time. Also recorded information can be searched by date, time or by face detected. All recorded data can be encrypted and password protected.
