The software has been designed as common product for surveillance hybrid platforms functioning at the same time with wireless and wired Internet webcams, TV-cards, capture boards, power-line, and USB cameras. It has web interface with the same appearance and controls on the local and apart computers. Users see MPEG-4 coded picture and have full control of the program using net that surveillance workstation can be run with no monitor, keyboard, and mouse connected.

Program's modular composition extensively boosts reliability because all parts proceed as independent software. If one part stops working, other modules continue working. For instance if the 'record' part stops working, 'watchdog' starts again it right away that users don't notice anything because they are watching video using a 'playback' module. The program does 'cyclic' recording that the 'disk full' situation never occurs. The recording can be constant or it can be activated by motion, human face recognition, or by timetable.
The program has pre-alarm and post-alarm recording. Playing back recorded video is pretty simple and performs on the surveillance station as well as on remote server via Web interface. The software makes simultaneous video playback for event analysis from multiple webcams at the same time. Also recorded information can be searched by date, time or by face detected. All recorded information can be encrypted and password protected.
