The software installs the AFPDS / IPDS / AFP print driver as if it were a real printer, making the creation of AFP document, page segment, medium overlay, and AFP overlay as easy as printing. Common documents can be converted to AFP files at an incredibly fast speed while retaining the look and feel of the original documents as well as many options that give users flexibility in AFP creation. More than 5,000 applications and file formats are natively supported.
The software supports such features as a complete set of paper sizes including user-defined custom paper size, flexible page orientation, Inline Form Definition, clip unprintable area or offset plus size, various color options for bitonal (B/W, Color/White), 16 colors (4bit CMYK from 4bit RGB or 24bit RGB), and full color (32bit CMYK) images, image resolution, image compression, intensity and contrast control, text optimization, font substitution, and finishing options.
